James Olin “Skeet” Bloodworth, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 23, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday August 27, 2016 at the Jeffersonville Church of God. Burial will follow in Pleasant Plains Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Walker, Rev. Bob Powell and Rev. Jeff Johnson will be officiating.
Mr. Bloodworth was born in Danville, GA to the late James Perry Bloodworth and Lizzie Yarborough Bloodworth. He was a member of Jeffersonville Church of God and was a retired pipefitter for Georgia Kraft with 30 years of service. Mr. Bloodworth served his country in the United States Navy and Army. He loved to square dance and was a member of the Western Square Dancers and the Irish Reelers. Mr. Bloodworth is preceded in death by two daughters, Pam Rogers and Phyllis Wilbourne, a grandchild Mason Rogers, brother Larry Bloodworth and great grandchildren Kayden and Damian.
