COCHRAN-Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Lou Howell, 86, who died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 will be held at 11A.M. Thursday in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Buford Raffield and Rev. Lane Collins officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. -Mrs. Howell was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late Aaron and Ellen Manning Adkins. She was the widow of Willie Lee Howell, Sr. She was retired from L & H Shirt Company and a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and Ladies I Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bo Adkins and Royce Adkins. -Survivors include: two sons, Willie Lee Howell, Jr. and Jackie Mitchell (Patricia) Howell, both of Cochran; granddaughter, Tara (Steve) Raffield of Cochran; great grandson, Mitchell Raffield; sisters, Cora Bryant of Kathleen, Doris Pettis of Danville and Gladys (Buddy) Dean of Macon; several nieces and nephews. -The family may be contacted at the residence Lee Howell and will meet friends at -Fisher Funeral Home Wednesday night from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
