Actor. Born William M. Landham, his best known role was as the Native American tracker 'Billy Sole' in the 1987 science-fiction motion picture "Predator". He got his start as an actor, appearing in pornographic films in the 1970s. His first acting role in a mainstream film came in the 1979 cult-film "The Warriors". Besides "Predator", he would go on to appear in such films as "Southern Comfort" (1981), "Poltergeist" (1982), "48 Hrs" (1982), "Firewalker" (1986), "Action Jackson" (1988), and "Lock Up" (1989). He also appeared in numerous television series during his career wich such credits as "B.J. and the Bear", "The A-Team", "Call to Glory", "Hardcastle and McCormick", and "Miami Vice". He later became involved in politics, running for Governor of Kentucky as a Republican and for the United States Senate as a Libertarian. He passed away of congestive heart failure after years of declining health.
