My ancestors are from the Cleveland, Rutherford, Burke, Lincoln and Catawba county areas of NC and then they moved on to SC, GA, TN, AL, MS and many others. If you have kin in that area, in many cases, I always say you can throw a rock and hit a relative.

My husband's lines are in Laurens Co, SC, moving to Carroll Co, GA and into Clay Co, AL.
