Serafin Diosomito Sanchez passed gracefully into his mother's arms on December 4, 2001. He was born in Naic, Cavite, Philippines on January 17, 1920. He worked at the U.S. Subic Naval Base, Olongapo City, Philippines, for 35 years, retiring as an office equipment mechanic in 1983. He immigrated to the United States in 1984 and obtained his citizenship on November 7, 1989 in Seattle, Washington. A devout Catholic, he contributed freely to the Catholic Church and to All Saints Parish in Puyallup, of which he was a parishioner.
God and his family were the constant focus of his life. He precedes into heaven Julia M. Sanchez, his loving wife of 51 years. He also precedes his seven children, Antonio Sanchez, Carmenita Fontillas, Anatalia Sy, Ana Maria Yambao, Felicitas Sanchez, Evangeline Hebron and Rafael Sanchez. His 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren will greatly miss him.

Thanks again Dad, for all you've given us in the name of the Lord.
