My Grandmother was the epitome of unconditional love. You always knew that it was what you did that she wasn't happy with, not you. She is dearly missed. Born in Marlette to Harry and Bertha Cole, she was a premie and her father had to put her in the stove as an incubator. She married my Grandpa Harold Van Kampen whom she met at Church camp. They had two children.Don, my Dad passed in 2014. She had 5 grandchildren, and was a great great Grandma before she died in 1999. We buried her on February 5th, 1999. My sister gave a speech at her funeral commemorating her life and what she meant to us, her grandchildren. It was a heartfelt speech and one I will always remember.
