Mrs. Ruth M. Abbe, 75, of Chester Lane, Pennellville, died Saturday, Aug. 21 at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Abbe formerly lived in Taunton before moving to the town of Schroeppel 17 years ago. She retired in 1972 as a supervisor in the telegraph bureau of General Electric Co. Mrs. Abbe was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Camillus. Surviving are her husband, John H.; a daughter, Mrs. John Wise of Rennellville; and a granddaughter, Brenda Lee Wise of Pennellville. Services were held at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
