Funeral services will be held at Roseburg Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm for George H. Fifer,73 who died in his home in Fremont Township Wednesday.

Mr. Fifer, who was born in Fremont Township, August 30, 1866, had been a resident of Freemont all his life, with the exception of two years spent in South Dakota.

He survived by his wife, three sons, Earl,Robert, and George, at home, and four daughters, Clara, at home, Mrs. Russell Doelle,Yale, Mrs.Harris Brown, and Mrs. Harold Spencer, both of Freemont Township;two sisters Mrs. William Gage, of Wilmont, and Mrs.John Elliot, of Deford, and one brother,Alec of Decker, and four grandchildren.

Rev Melvin R. Vender, pastor of the Croswell Presbterian Church,will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Croswell Cemetery.
