Passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, Dec. 7, 1976, at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. Age 72 years. He was born April 17, 1904, in Delaware. He had been a resident of Vassar for 40 years. He married Mabel Secord Aug. 3, 1930, in Yale, Mich. She survives him. He was a member of St. Luke's English Lutheran Church in Vassar. He retired from the Vassar Manufacturing in 1969. Surviving besides his wife are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 1976, at St. Luke's English Lutheran Church. Pastor O.F. Maasch will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home in Vassar after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday until 10:00 a.m. Friday and at the church from noon Friday until the time of service. Those who so desire may make memorials to the St. Luke's English Lutheran Church. Saginaw Daily News
