Caroline 'Lena' Holzworth, 92 of Mansfield, Ohio, died April 15, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield following an extended illness. Mrs. Holzworth was born December 5, 1907 in Newaygo, Michigan residing in the Mansfield area most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ontario for 75 years and of Homemakers Club of Richland County.
Surviving are five daughters and two sons-in-law, Marie and James Melching of Mansfield; Evelyn Bemiller of Mansfield; Eleanor and Albert Borsani of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; Rose Holzworth of Mansfield; and Marjorie Roush of Shelby; twelve grandchildren; James, Susan, Lindsey, & Nina (Smith) Melching, Debra (Robertson), Diane, Dale & Scott Bemiller; Richard and Jeffrey Hammond; David and Cynthia Roush; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; three brothers and one sister-in-law, John Zimmerman and Rudy Zimmerman both of Michigan; and Phil and Elizabeth Zimmerman of Michigan; one sister-in-law, Johanna Fiddler of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rosa Csaneck Zimmerman; her husband, Adam Holzworth; one son, Lawrence Holzworth; and four sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor Jerry L. Rhea. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Franklin Township EMS or St. Paul's Lutheran Church
