Sr. and Frances M. Elmendorf, and brother of Sister Mary Elmendorf,FSM, Sister Jacinta Elmendorf,FSM of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary, and Ralph Elmendorf, Jr. and a proud uncle and cousin of many.

A noted Chevrolet auto dealership executive in metro St. Charles, Mr. Elmendorf effectively used his many talents and business, civic and organizational connections in conjunction with his Roman Catholic faith to develop numerous programs that improved the quality of life for many in the metro St. Charles area as well as initiating charitable and educational projects that helped many worthy individuals.

Noted for his civic and community foresight as well as his dedication to Catholicism and the historic St. Charles Borromeo Parish (founded in the 1700's, one of the oldest Roman Catholic parishes in Missouri), Mr. Elmendorf was named a Pontifical Knight of the Holy Sepulchre by Pope Paul VI in 1964, and was named a Knight of Malta by Bl.
