Robert Lee Franzen, 57, of Mansfield died early Monday morning, August 26, 2002 at Woodlawn Health Care and Rehabilitation after an extended illness. Mr. Franzen was born May 28, 1945 in Shelby, Ohio and was an area resident his entire life. He was a graduate of Crestview High School. Robert retired from Cooper Security where he worked as a security officer. He enjoyed mechanics and participating in nursing home activities.
He is survived by an aunt, Johanna Fiddler of Mansfield; a cousin, John Fiddler of Mansfield; and numerous other cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Katherine Holzworth Franzen.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, August 28 from 4-6and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Carl W. Cunfer. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
