Beatrice C. "Bea" Spencer, 97, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Liberty Nursing Home. Born March 4, 1914 in Richland County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harvey and Louis Nevada Schroeder Bemiller. She retired from Mansfield Screw Machine Products after 32 years of service where she worked as an inspector. Bea was a 50 year member of Ruth Chapter #17, Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed watching sports on television especially golf.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Louis Motter of Mansfield; grandchildren, Chris and Jannel Motter of Galena, Ohio and Kelly Jo Ferreira of Melbourne, Florida; three great grandchildren, Alec, Evan and Brady Motter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth W. Spencer in 1959;

three brothers, Orville, Carl and Bernard Bemiller;

and three sisters, Lela Oakleaf, Evelyn Honeycutt and Freda Hoeflich.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield conducted by Rev. Christopher Thomas. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the services, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
