Mr. Paul was born on March 19, 1962 in Danville, a son of the late Willie O. Paul, Jr. and the late Jean Henderson Paul. He had lived his entire life in the Danville area. He was a graduate of George Washington High School. He was employed by the City of Danville as a Waste Water Operator and later for Severn Trent Services. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Paul is survived by his fiancée, Ronda Adams of Pelham, N.C., three sisters, Jean Marie Dabbs and husband, Joseph Dabbs, Jr., Vickie Hill and husband, Michael Hill, Carolyn Nielsen and husband, Douglas Nielsen all of Danville, one brother, Willie O. Paul III of Durham, N.C., five nieces and five nephews and his beloved pet, Buddy.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Ann Paul, Beth Lee Paul and one brother, John Fielding Paul.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, January 28, 2013 from Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Reverend R.J. Barber, Jr. and Mr. James Paul officiating. Interment will follow in the Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Ruffin, N.C. located on Highway 700.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence of his sister, Carolyn Nielsen, 36 Shumate Street.
