MEXICO — S. Robert Aasberg, 74, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon while shoveling snow at his home on Route 104, just west of this village. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 9 1899 son of Christian E. and Sophia Arsen Aasberg, and came to this country as a young man. He worked as a mechnical engineer on State Island until 1944 and came to this are two years later. For several years he operated the Mexico Senior Citizens and this year was a member of the Mexico Village
Cemetery Board. Surviving are his wife, the former Nettie Sherman; two daughters Mrs Charles (Edna) Hanson, Mexico, and Mrs. Donald (Constance) Morse, Springfield, Va.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Victor (Marjorie) Reynolds, Oswego. Burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery.
