David E. Glancy, 81, of 7502 E. Green Lake Way, died in a nursing home yesterday after a short illness.
Mr. Glancy, born in Ohio, came to Seattle 31 years ago from Sunnyside, Yakima County. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Glancy was a member of the Green Lake Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Lloyd L. and Roy A., both of Seattle and Glenn O. Glancy, Unlakleet, Alaska; four daughters, Mrs. Glen Hall and Miss Clara Glancy, both of Seattle; Mrs. Ivan J. Klein, Wilmington, Del., and Mrs. John A. Hansen, Lyndhurst, N. J.; a sister, Mrs. O. P. Leach, Seattle; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow in the Green Lake Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pacific Lutheran under the direction of the Green Lake mortuary.
