Jim was the son of Donna Marie Gibson and Billie Lloyd Goodman Sr. He was the father to Cherrie Ann Goodman and Summer Karen Goodman. He married Cynthia Karen Carder in June of 1969 and they divorce during the 70's,
Jim was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father and siblings, Billy Lloyd Goodman Jr. (Lori), Gary Michael Goodman Sr (Claudia), Ricky Dale Goodman and sister Tina Marie Miller (Greg).
Jim died of traumatic injuries sustained in a single vehicle motorcycle accident. (His 750 Honda skidded out after hitting a patch of oil. He lost control and hit a wall.) An autopsy was preformed and report is on file with memorial owner Claudia Pawson Goodman.
