Walter Hegarty
Officers of Pittsburg Lodge 1474 will officiate at funeral services for Walter J. Hegarty, 61, to be held at 8 pm today in the Lough-Ouimet Concord Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at 11 am Wednesday at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Nevada City.
Mr. Hegarty was killed on Friday in an auto accident near Port Chicago. He was a native of Nevada City, California. He owned and operated Walt's Inn for 23 years and was a memeber of Pittsburg Lodge 1474.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Carmen Maddock, San Jose; and brother Leslie Hegarty, Coalinga; a nephew, George Hegarty, Concord, and three grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials to the Heart Fund.
