Solemn high mass of requiem for Pvt. Joseph S. Colombo, a former employee of Kaufmanns parking lot, will be sung tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peters Church, W. Ohio St..
Pvt. Colombo was killed in action on Iwo Jima, March 6, 1945. He was 22.
A graduate of North Catholic High School, he enlisted in the Marines March 23, 1944.
Surviving are his parents, Joseph and Molly Breen Colombo, and two brothers, Lou and Jack, at home. Friends are being received at the family home, 151 Henkel Rd., West View. Burial will be in North Catholic Cemetery.
