VERGENNES, VT. - Noela Theresa (Aube) Brunet, age 89, of Vergennes, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1st 2021 at the McClure/Miller Respite House in Colchester, Vt.
She was born on December 20th 1931 in Charlotte, Vt., she was the daughter of Corrine (Charlebois) and Damien Aube.
She graduated from Shelburne High School in 1949 and Burlington Business College in 1951.
She worked in a lawyer's office and for General Electric before she had children.
She married Marcel Armand Burnet Sr. on September 6th 1954 in Charlotte, Vermont. Together they had eight children; four sons and four daughters, and lived in Ferrisburgh, Vt. He predeceased her on July 17th 1991.
She was a Bookkeeper for their family farm and milk hauling business, as well as for their siding and contracting business later in life.
She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Peters Catholic Church in Vergennes, Vt., and also served on the Parish Council, Cemetery Committee, and the Social Action Committee for St. Peter's.
She was predeceased by her husband; Marcel Brunet, one daughter; Monica Ann (Brunet) Ringer on May 28th 2019, and one granddaughter; Kristy Lynn Brunet on December 6th 2015.

Interment will be at the St. Peter's Cemetery in Vergennes, Vt.
