Melinda Hunter

Melinda Dean Hunter of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at her home following a brief battle with ovarian cancer. She was 52.

She was born Jan. 27, 1957 in St. Petersburg, FL, to Virgil Lee Carlton and the late Margaret "Peggy" White Carlton.

Mrs. Hunter was a member of Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church and was a 2005 graduate of Southern Adventist University earning her BSN. She was a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of Memorial North Park Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel. Pastor Jim Herman and Professor Richard Cadavero (memorial 117349195) officiated. Burial followed immediately at Forest Hill Cemetery.
