Herbert Penick Pearson Jr.
Herbert Penick Pearson Jr..21, of 2514 Fairview Ave. died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday in Lynchburg General Hospital as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born in Lynchburg, he was a son of Reba Drinkard Pearson of Lynchburg and the late Mr. Pearson. He was a Bricklayer and a member of Fairview Christian Church.
In addition to his mother,he is survived by two sisters, Deborah Pearson and Peggy Ann Pearson, both of Lynchburg; a grandmother,Mrs. Elizabeth Pearson of Lynchburg, and a grandfather W.L. Drinkard of Lynchburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from Whitten Park Avenue Chapel by the Rev. Willie Davis. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at residence.
