Jack B. Sharlike, 70, of Interlachen died Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka following an extended illness.
He was born in Chicago, Ill, and had been a resident of Interlachen for the past 33 years, coming from East Chicago, Ill. He served in the U.S. military. He was formerly employed at the Palatka Golf Course as a groundskeeper. He was a member of the Interlachen United Methodist Church. He enjoyed baseball and golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julanne Sharlike. He is survived by his dear friend Dorothy Haas of Interlachen.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial gifts may be sent to Hospice of the Lakes, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177.
Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 22 at the Masters Funeral Home of Interlachen.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 23 at the funeral home with the Rev. A. C. Myers officiating. To honor and celebrate Jack's life a video tribute will be shown during the service.
Burial will follow in the family plot at the Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen.
