Harry Schnell, 85, of R. 2, Hilbert, died early today at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a brief illness.
Born on Oct. 25, 1887, in the Town of Brillion, he was a son of the late Henry and Louise Krueger Schnell. He was married to Ida Schubring on May 9, 1912. The couple farmed in the Forest Junction area their entire married lives. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction, and the Gideon Band Sunday School Class.
Survivors are a son Leslie of, R. 2, Hilbert; three grandchildren and two great-grand children, and a brother, Arthur, of Chilton. His wife, a son, daughter and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction, the Rev. Calmer Overlien, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Junction.
