Services for Pauline Aeschliman of Grass Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.

Mrs. Aeschliman died Wednesday, Feb. 11, in Grass Valley. She was 79.

She was born June 15, 1924, in Dickinson, N.D., to Joseph Kolling and Katherina Hack. She married Allen Aeschliman June 26, 1948, in San Marino. She worked at Sears in the Bay Area as a sales clerk. She enjoyed sewing, square dancing, and socializing with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons Robert Aeschliman of Hollister, Richard Aeschliman of Nevada City and Wayne Aeschliman of Hampton, Iowa; and grandchildren Emily and Kyle Aeschliman of Hollister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Aeschliman, in 2003.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital Auxiliary or the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
