WINDSOR - Veronica Ann "Ronnie" Stone, 59, died with her husband,
Richard, on May 20, 2004, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in
Lebanon, N.H., as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

She was born Feb. 9, 1945, in Windsor, the daughter of Charles L. and
Olga H. (Lomash) Woodruff.

She attended schools in Windsor, graduating from Windsor High School
in 1963. She attended Northampton Business School and graduated from
Keene (N.H.) State College, where she also obtained her master's
degree. She taught in the Claremont, N.H., elementary schools for 26
years, most of that time as a second-grade teacher at Bluff Elementary School.

She married Richard Stone Dec. 2, 1963.

Mrs. Stone was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Windsor.

She enjoyed teaching, sports and gardening.

Survivors include three daughters, Tamara Palmertree of Navarre,
Fla., Tonya Shoemaker of Mount Royal, N.J., and Toshia Preston of
Milliken, Colo.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Woodruff of
Sunapee, N.H.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's
Episcopal Church with the Rev. Alfred Cramer officiating. Burial will
follow in Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Upper
Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, N.H., 03748.

The Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
