Leo was a dear friend. He was a Reserve Sheriff's Deputy, a retired UPS driver, a HAM Radio Operator and a FAG Contributor.

"Lightning" Leo Bingham took his last county hunting trip on July 12, 2013.
He is now in Heaven with his dad, Arden Bingham; sister, Glenda Sullivan; and stepdad, Dossie Shippert. He took this trip alone and left behind his loving wife, Chris "The Boss"; kitties, Samantha (Goose), Lucky Lucy, Molly and Ap; mom, Lanay Bingham Shippert; sister, Audrey Langley; brother, Dwight Bingham; nephew and wife, Andy and Buffy Bingham; in-laws, Lyn, Mike and Scootie Cohn, Marilyn and Bill Kroll; and many saddened friends and family.
Lightning was only 55, but had a busy and full life. He and Chris lived in Pine Haven, at Lunker Lodge where they enjoyed the wildlife, fishing, four wheeling and just being together. Lightning enjoyed HAM radio and helping the younger generation get their licenses, county hunting, photography, movie making, fishing, genealogy, his John Deere tractor, geocaching, being a Sheriff's Office Posse member, woodworking and scuba diving.
He was working as an invasive species boat inspector for Game and Fish this summer and really loved that job, visiting with the boaters and protecting his lake. He was especially proud that he was invited to help with special projects on his lake, Keyhole. Leo was a fun-loving prankster, and he died doing what he loved, guiding a group of county hunters on a tour of his home territory, being a prankster, laughing, picking on the girls, and living life to the fullest.
Leo's call WY7LL will long be remembered along with his double L's that reminded us of his many loves: love of life, WY7ML (Mrs. Lunker, Mrs. Lightning ), Lunker Lodge. He wore his cowboy hat proudly as a symbol of the Wyoming way of life and his wish to live the "John Wayne" lifestyle of honesty and integrity; like me or not, I am who I am.
Leo did not want a wake or a funeral but rather a party at Lunker Lodge. There will be a party celebrating his life on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, from noon till whenever at Lunker Lodge. Bring your own everything: food, drink, chairs, etc.
I love you and miss you Honey Bunny. You are very special, one of a kind.
