During WWII, Lorna worked for the British Postal Service and met her husband - John Bauman. Lorna lived in Europe and Asia with her husband for 30 years. After his retirement, they settled down in Indian Harbour Beach, FL where she stayed active with her passions. Lorna was active in her church, she was dedicated to saving wildlife, and was devoted to reading books and writing letters. John & Lorna had two daughters, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
