My grandmother was born in Philadelphia to Peter Elder and Mary Chisholm and was the youngest daughter of three. Marie Josephine met and married Walter Edmund Sullivan in NYC on 24 June 1918 at All Saints Catholic Church. They moved to Newark and started a family, which included my father and two sisters.
She would develop health issues with her final childbirth of Mary Josephine in Dec. of 1921. My grandmother would pass away in January of 1922 in Newark.
