Eugene R. Arnstrom, age 85, of rural Manhattan, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Silver Cross Hospital, Joliet.

Mr. Arnstrom was a retired farmer. He was born July 27, 1916, in Symerton, the son of Gotfred P. and Eleanor K. Kirk Arnstrom.

He was a 50-year member and past master of the Elwood Masonic Lodge 919 Af&Am; and a member of the Royal Arch Chapter 142 of Wilmington.

Visitation: 3-8 p.m. Friday with 7 p.m. Masonic services at the Fedde-Helfrich Chapel, Peotone.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wilton Center Federated Church. Rev. Richard Wagner will officiate.
