Daughter of Hiram and Polly Curtis. She married Joseph Frederic Bellinger on 3 Sept. 1836 in Manchester, Ontario Co, NY(per his civil war pension papers). The family migrated to Richfield Township, Genesee Co. Michigan around 1839 and then to Flushing Township, Genesee Co., MI. She died at the home of her son, Joseph Frederic Bellinger, Jr in Plano, Kendall Co., IL on 30 Sept 1900. She was the sister of Polly Curtis Bellinger, who was the wife of Jonas Frederic Bellinger, a brother of Rebecca's husband, Joseph Frederic Bellinger. A simple example of two Curtis sisters marrying two Bellinger brothers.
