RANDOLPH – Mary Elizabeth Garrison, 72, went to be with the lord Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at her home. A native of Earle, Ark., she was born July 26, 1941, to Allison Lunsford and Lorea Woodham Lunsford. She married Troy Liddell Garrison Oct. 2, 1959, and had five sons. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She loved collecting antiques.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Guinn Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Troy Garrison; sons, Roger Garrison (Denise) of Potts Camp, Randy Garrison, Ryan Garrison (Bobbie) and Rodney Garrison (Cheryl), all of Randolph; one daughter-in-law, Lori Garrison; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ken Nowlin, Larry Nowlin, both of Friendship, and Danny Lunsford and Johnny Lunsford, both of Arkansas; and two sisters, Deb Yates and Jude Lunsford, both of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Rick Garrison.
Pallbearers will be Justin Garrison, Ricky Dean Garrison, Andrew Nowlin, John Adam Nowlin, Todd Nowlin, Kolten Cook, Michael Garrison and Tommy Garrison.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
