She was born November 23, 1917 the daughter of Earl J. and Ethel L. Seeley Bliss. She was educated in Pennsylvania schools and attended banking schools prior to her retirement from First Bank & Trust Company of Corning, NY after 19 years of service. She also owned and operated a diner in Corning, NY for a number of years and managed the Centerway Motel Restaurant from 1953 to 1959. She was married to Merton J, Rhoda, Jr on November 12, 1955 at Sparta Center, NY by Rev. Harry Lee. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. Lawrenceville, PA.
Survived by: brother and sister-in-law Rick & Thelma Bliss, Lawrenceville, PA and sister-in-law Mildred Bliss, Lawrenceville, PA, several nieces and nephews.
