Cottondale - Mildred W. Booker, age 81, of Cottondale, died July 30, 2006 in home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar William Booker, Sr. of Cottondale; daughter, Judy (Robert) Burt of Cottondale; sons, Bill (Sherry) Booker of Cottondale and Joe (Nancy) Booker of Cottondale, brothers, Hugh Ward, Jack Ward and Al Ward, all of Cottondale and Herb Ward of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren, Jodie Robinson of Kewanee, Ill., Jennifer (Josh) Butler of Pleasant Grove, Crystal Booker, Julie and Robin Burt and Samantha Booker, all of Cottondale.
Mildred was married on June 30, 1945 to Oscar, and they were married for 61 years. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Pallbearers will be Mike Merriam, Jr., Wyatt, R.H. Burns, Harold Ward, Mike McCormack and Buster Jones.
