Mrs. Reed was a member of Bethel Christian Church. She worked for the Housing and Urban Development mostly in Paducah, but also briefly in Ohio.
Mrs. Reed is survived by two daughters, Deena Reed Blackwell and husband Brian of Grapevine, TX, and Kim Reed Crenshaw and fiancé Reinhard Knerr of Paducah; two sons, Jeff Reed of Paducah, and Eric Reed and wife Tana of Paducah; two grandchildren, Kaitlin "Katie" Blackwell and Alex Crenshaw; one sister, Jane Carroll Erickson of Cleveland, OH; six brothers, Julian Carroll of Frankfort, KY, Herb Carroll of Huntersville, NC, Billy Joe Carroll, David Carroll, Neel Carroll, and Tommy Carroll all of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Carroll Casper; and two brothers, Gene Carroll, and Bobby Jack Carroll. Her parents were E.B. "Buster" and Eva Heady Carroll.
