Barbara Michael Guinn, 65, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at her home.
She was born on January 11, 1948 in Madisonville, KY to the late Babe Ruth Bivins Clark and Grady "Pap" Michael. She owned and operated Wise Buys. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Kallgren, Jr., Grady Michael and Larry Michael.
She is survived by her husband, James Guinn; her daughters, Traci Reeves of Madisonville, Melissa Morin and Tanya (Jay) Colley both of Illinois; four step-children; her brothers, George Michael and Jerry Michael both of Illinois; her sister, Pattie Wilson of Missouri; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Phil Sullivan officiating. Burial to follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Colley, Joshua Colley, Justin Colley, Chris Stokes, Michael Lindsay and Ray Lamping. Honorary pallbearer will be Jacob Colley.
