Helen Johanna Timm, age 88 years, passed away September 25, 2013 at Heartland Health Care-Hampton. She was born in Bay City on March 8, 1925 to the late Frank and Agnes (Vos) Voss. Helen was a member of St. Norbert Catholic Church, Munger and served for many years on the Altar Society and worked on the funeral luncheons. She and her husband Ray were lifetime farmers. She loved to watch Tiger games and to have her 3 little puppies on her lap.

She is survived by her daughter Maureen (Ted) Alvarez, 2 daughters-in-law Darcee and Karen Timm, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and sister Mildred Allabaugh. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Timm and 2 sons Lawrence and Robert Timm.

The Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Norbert Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. Dale Orlik will preside and the Rite of Committal will follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. She will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Heartland Health Care-Hampton for the compassionate care provided for Helen.
