MRS. GEORGIA L. SNOWBERGER, 66, wife of Norman F. Snowberger, 10924 Buchanan Trail East, died at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Santa Teresita Hospital, Duarte, Calif. She was admitted to the hospital last Friday after suffering heart failure while visiting with her daughter in Arcadia, Calif.
Mrs. Snowberger was born in Waynesboro on Oct. 1, 1914, a daughter of the late Russell and Jenny (Johnson) Noll.
She lived all her life in Waynesboro and she was a graduate of the Waynesboro High School with the class of 1932.
She and her husband were married in August, 1936.
Mrs. Snowberger was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Renee Hiser, Belfair, Wash., and Mrs. Roberta L. Rook, Arcadia, Calif. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two sisters; Mrs. Anita Gilbert and Mrs. Janet Hayes, both of Waynesboro.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Carl Buterbaugh. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
There will be no viewing. However the family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
