Markleville -- Mrs. Sarah "Sallie" King, 67, Markleville died at 10:55 a. m. Sunday in the Henry County Hospital, New Castle. Her husband, Grover King, died in 1952.
She was born at Green Sulphur, W. Va., a daughter of George A. and Lizzie Withrow DeHart, who became Adams Township poineers.
Mrs. King was a member of North Christian Church, Markleville, the Markleville Brotherhood and Sisterhood, and the Ladies Auxilliary of the Railway Trainmen's Association.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. George Hunt, Rt. 1, Shirley, and Mrs. May Georget, Tucson; two brothers, Earl DeHart, Salina Kan., and Arnold DeHart, Tucson; a number of nephews and nieces.
Friends are being received in the Valorous C. Rector Funeral Home, Markleville. Services will be conducted at 2 p. m. today in the funeral home by the Rev. Bill Miller of North Christian Church. Burial will be in the Harlan Cemetery near Wilkinson.
