MARKLEVILLE--Clarence Lee (Bob) Creason, 67, died at his home in Markleville about 7 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a heart attack last Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Creason was born and reared in the Mt. Gilead community, and was the son of Irvin and Emma Orr Creason. He spent all of his life in the Markleville area, carrying on farming activities. He was a member of the Markleville Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
Surviving are a brother, George Creason, Anderson; a half-sister, Mrs. Gertrude Lemond, Middletown, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The body was removed to the Valorous C. Rector Funeral Home in Markleville where friends are being received today. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. A. F. Byrne of the Whetstone Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Harlan Cemetery, south of Markleville.
