Allen, Levi Jr, age 56, farmer
Allen, Cornelia, age 51, wife
Allen, Cora, age 9, daughter
Allen, Mary E, age 8, daughter
All of them were born in Ohio. Cora would have been short for Cornelia who was named after her mother.
Albertina was listed in the 1900 census in Irvington, Marion County, Indiana, with her husband, Jacob D. Forrest. He was 33. She was 28. They had been married for seven years but had no children. They were both indicated in the census as being teachers. They were professors at Butler College [now University].
Albertina died while she and Jacob were vacationing in Florida. He was completely brokenhearted when she died. It is absolutely telling in the monument he had prepared for the love of his life.

The gravestone monument is recorded by the Smithsonian Institution as the Forrest Monument, Woman in Repose, sculpted by Rudolf Schwarz (1866-1912) in bronze on a granite base installed in 1904. Their description:
A bronze figure of a kneeling woman in Classical dress is centered in a three-sided, Greek-temple style granite structure, under a pediment supported by Ionic columns. She holds a palm leaf symbolizing victory over death. Her head is lowered on her clasped hands in mourning. She leans forward against a block with a relief of a wreath, her proper right knee forward on a step and her proper left foot extends from beneath her hem. Benches are along the side walls of the structure. There is a stairway in front. The monument also contains a quotation about grief from "In Memoriam," by Alfred Lord Tennyson.
