Catharine Cecilia Molloy, nee Lyons, was a first generation Irish-American born in Washington D.C. to Daniel B. Lyons and Catherine Buckley Lyons, Dec. 8, 1881. She died in Washington D.C. in 1948. She is survived by her children William Edward Molloy Jr. (Bub), Mrs. Catherine Molloy Folliard (Kate), George A. Molloy and Mary Elizabeth Molloy. Her daughter Margaret F. Molloy died as an infant. Also surviving are grandchildren: Katherine Cecilia Folliard (Kay), William Edward Molloy III (Billy), Patricia Mary Folliard (Patsy), Richard Clayton Molloy, Robert Joseph Folliard Jr., Dorothy Margaret Folliard, Mary Elizabeth Folliard and Thomas George Folliard. She was predeceased by her husband William Edward Molloy Sr. She is buried with her husband. Only his name appears on the marker.
