Town of Lee - Kathleen J. Comer, 79, of Stokes-Lee Center Road, died May 5, 1993, at her home.
She was born June 4, 1913, in Richmond Hill, NY, a daughter of William J. and Mary Agnes Cassidy Lavelle. A graduate of Oneonta Normal School, she married James W. Comer in East Northfort, Long Island, a blessed union of 59 years. She was a member of Lee Center United Methodist Church, and a former member of the MYF of the church.
She is survived by her husband, James, two sons, James W. Comer, III, Huntington, NY, and Ronald E. Comer, Northfort, two brothers, Bernard and William Lavelle, and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at the Barry Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
