She was the daughter of Daniel B. Lyons (1845-1913) and Catherine Lyons nee Buckley (1846-1920). She was a first generation Irish-American. Her husband was Harold Dominic Lynch (1885 - 1969), Daughter, Margaret A. Lynch Lijana (1923 - 2004) and son Edward J. Lynch (1919 -1965). She had five grandchildren: Harold David Lynch (1937 - 2009), Edward J. Lynch (1948 -1948), Richard J. Lynch (1950 - ), Paula L. Lynch (1952 - ) and Margaret Lynch (1953 - ).
