Born Nov. 4, 1914, in Penn Township, he was the son of Carl Robert and Anna May White Hutzley.
He worked as a craneman in the hot and cold maintenance department at Armco-Butler Works for 37 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the North Street Christian Church and the Tanglewood Senior Center.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas R. Hutzley of Butler and Brian K. Hutzley of Renfrew; a daughter, Mrs. David (Darlene) McDonald of Butler; four grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Jean Gaiser Hutzley, who died Feb. 14, 1981; six sisters; five brothers, and a son.
HUTZLEY - Friends of Paul R. Hutzley, who died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Huber and the Rev. Jeff Miller, his church pastors, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
Memorial donations may be made to North Street Christian Church, 226 W. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
