Funeral services for Mr. John Raymond Williams, age 79, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born July 26, 1934 in Wilkinson County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Will Williams and Helen Dyal Williams and his significant other, Grace Brantley. He was a retired iron worker with BE&K Construction and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Williams passed away Wednesday January 15, 2014 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
