AARONSON, EDWARD ALLEN
Passed away at the age of 96 in his home in Chevy Chase, MD on Monday, August 1, 2005. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, May Rosett Aaronson. He is also survived by his children, Doris Aaronson of New York and West Milford, NJ, David Aaronson (Laura) of Bethesda, MD and Jean Rosenfeld (George) of Carmichael, CA. He also leaves two grandchildren, Stephanie Rosenfeld and Sunny Lerner (Akiba) of San Francisco, CA, as well as two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Jeremiah Lerner.

Raised in Washington, DC, he attended Western High School and graduated law school in 1929 from National University Law School, now George Washington University Law School, where he was Exchequer of Alpha Eta Phi (Legal) fraternity. He practiced in law in Washington 60 years with his brother, Martin Aaronson. He belonged to B'nai Israel Congregation for over 50 years and he enjoyed playing golf at Norbeck Country Club.

Responsibility for others, integrity and commitment to family, were enduring values that guided his life.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3 at 2:30 p.m. at King David Memorial Garden (703-560-4400 for directions.) Family will be observing Shiva following the services at the home of David and Laura Aaronson. Evening services will begin at 7:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be made to B'nai Israel Synagogue, 6301 Montrose Rd., Rockville, MD 20852.
