Alice F. Forsythe (nee Lencki), age 99, of Crown Point, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation in Crown Point, IN.
Alice is survived by 3 nephews: Dr. Richard (Pat) Lencki of Hickory Hills, IL, Paul (Lynn) Lencki of Waupaca, WI and Lawrence Lencki of Sauk Village, IL; and 1 niece: Dolores Kozora of Lowell, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Forsythe; and 3 brothers: Sigmund, Walter and Henry Lencki.
Alice was a hospital volunteer and worked in the gift shop at St. Mary Medical Center for 42 years. She loved to line dance and drove her own car until the age of 96.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, Merrillville, IN from 9:00 AM until time of funeral prayers at 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Consolation Church, Merrillville, IN at 11:30 AM with Fr. Peter J. Muha officiating. Entombment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
