Death of John Jennings
John Jennings, a well-known resident of Granite, died last Saturday evening at his home after several weeks illness. Mr. Jennings contracted typhoid fever some time ago and was thought to be on his way to recovery when death overtook him.
The funeral took place from the family residence in Granite last Monday and the remains were laid to rest in the Philipsburg cemetery. A large number of friends accompanied the remains to the grave.
The deceased leaves a wife and three children, to whom the community extends its deepest sympathy.
