Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda D. "Big Ma" Bray, age 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Kurt Poole, Rev. Craige Foskey and Mrs. Mildred Foskey will officiate.
Mrs. Bray was born June 9, 1931 in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Piercy & Mattie Tanner Dixon, three brothers, Arthur Dixon, Lanier (Eleanore) Dixon, and Earl Dixon and a sister, Annie Dixon Dozier. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was a homemaker and daycare provider. Mrs. Bray passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Serenity Place.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Honorary escorts will include children from her day care from over the years.
